Private preschool in Prague 7
The Letná branch is in Bubeneč, at Čechova 587/29. It is for families from all over Prague 7 and not only.
It is a private preschool listed in the Czech register of schools, not a children’s group. For parents in Prague 7 this matters in practice: your child completes the compulsory pre-school year with us, and you do not need to move them to a state preschool for it.
The nearest tram stops are Korunovační and Letenské náměstí, both a few hundred metres from the preschool.
The day runs from 8:00 to 18:00, so you can pick your child up after work in the centre. English is taught by native speakers, Czech by Czech teachers.

We accept children from the age of 2 into the nursery group and up to 6 years, until they start primary school.
Are your English teachers native speakers?
Yes. The English programme is led by native speakers, the Czech programme by Czech teachers. The programme is bilingual.
How much is the tuition?
Tuition is 18,990 CZK per month. Meals and the registration fee are listed on the price list page.

Is the preschool accredited?
Yes, the school is registered in the Czech register of schools (MŠMT). It means we meet the hygiene, safety and educational standards, and children complete the compulsory pre-school year with us.
How do I arrange a visit?

Do you run summer day camps?
Yes, we run summer day camps at both of our branches in Prague.
What if my child is ill?
Only healthy children can attend. If a child has an infectious runny nose, a raised temperature or fever, is vomiting, or has diarrhoea, a cough, an eye infection or a rash, they stay at home. We only ask for a doctor’s note if symptoms such as a rash are still visible after the child returns and the teacher cannot tell whether they are infectious.
What happens if my child falls ill at preschool?
A teacher or the management calls the parents as soon as possible. Until a parent arrives, the child rests apart from the other children and is supervised the whole time.
Do you accept two-year-olds on diapers?
Yes. Parents provide diapers, wet wipes and spare clothes. Settling in starts with shorter stays. We begin potty training together with the parents once the child is ready, with no fixed deadline.
What do children eat?
We provide a morning snack, lunch (soup and a main course), and an afternoon snack. We work with a catering company that prepares healthy, balanced meals for children. Fresh fruit and vegetables are always included in our menu. The menu includes vegetarian dishes as well, and allergens are listed for every dish.
Do your native-speaker teachers change often?
Our Czech teachers stay with us for a long time. Native speakers change more often, because it depends on how long they plan to live in the Czech Republic. We also have native speakers who work with us long term.
How many children are in a class?
We have one teacher for every seven children. Letná has two classes, a younger one and an older one. At full capacity each group has two teachers (one Czech teacher and one native English teacher).
